Today I will introduce you to Chris Ferguson, another poker professional and advocate of Full Tilt Poker, one of the top Texas Holdem sites online today. Nicknamed “Jesus”, Ferguson is well known for sitting at live events with very long hair and a prominent beard. He was brought up in L.A., and his parents both have PhDs in mathematics. I imagine there would have been plenty of academic pressure on Ferguson with a background like that, but it appears he did fine because he has a doctoral degree of his own in computer science.

Ferguson has done a few impressive things with his Full Tilt Poker download. As a challenge to himself, he gave himself a $1 bankroll and earned an excess of $20k. He later did it again with a zero dollar bankroll, and this was only possible to do by entering freerolls on his Full Tilt Poker download.

To say that Ferguson excels in tournament poker would be an understatement as he’s cashed for almost $8 million in live events. He has cashed in the World Series of Poker 59 times, winning five bracelets and placing third all-time for WSOP cashes. He is the only player to have won 3 WSOP circuit events in brick-and-mortar US poker rooms, and he won the Main Event ten years ago.

From Ferguson’s results, it would appear that having a strong mathematical background can really benefit poker players. Game theory influences his playing style, and he uses computer simulations to improve his game. Although he spends a lot of time studying poker, he’s not completely serious all the time. He runs the swing dance club at UCLA, and he can throw cards so fast that they cut through fruits and vegetables! Don’t you also want to know if he’s ever attempted to download free casino games for some true Internet gambling?

If you want to catch Ferguson at the tables, stop using your online casino Amex and login to Full Tilt. You’ll see that it’s way more fun. Maybe you can try to bust him in a tournament!
